Hey there, it’s Amy. I’m not really good at the whole “bio” thing, but let me tell you a little bit about myself. First of all, I love Jesus. I am so thankful that One so glorious is also gracious. I’m thankful that He sacrificed Himself to pay the just penalty for my sins, and that He didn’t just save me from punishment but actually adopted me into His family. I want to spend my life better knowing Him, loving Him, and living in a way that honors Him.
I also love my family. I’ve been married to my husband for almost 8 years. He’s my best friend in the entire world. We have two wonderful sons. Isaac is kind, joyful, and loves to learn. He also thinks he’s faster than the Flash (if you’ve ever seen him run, this should make you laugh). Reed is rambunctious, adventurous, and for better or worse, passionate. I suspect he’s the cause of my premature strands of white hair. We also have a daughter waiting to come home from India! We know very little about her, but look at her picture about 1,000 times a day and can say with absolute certainty that she is the most beautiful little girl in all of India.
If you stick around long enough, you’ll find out that I’m passionate about a lot of things. I’m passionate about important topics like adoption, caring for the suffering, speaking for the oppressed, and holding fast to good doctrine. I’m also passionate about not-so-important things. Like Coffee. And Chipotle. And Cheese.
